Acting That Heals

Acting That HealsHave you ever had the experience of helping others touch within to reach the truth of who they are? It is a wonderful thing to happen. Mary Mackey, an actress, does just this by visiting prisons, of all places. It would seem that inmates have reached dead end streets, but Mary has found a way to help them. Born of Catholic parents, Mary was a runway model for ten years and then turned to acting.

In this interview with Fr. Mike, she explains how acting helped her to become comfortable in her own skin. The story of how she ended up with Agape Prison ministry is an inspiring one. She has used her skills in helping others reach their potential. Having experienced her own "darkness' of a divorce", Mary knows what it means to come out of that empowered in her self.

Don't miss Acting That Heals on TBN Wednesday, March 9 at 8:30 a.m. PT and then later on our website www.wordnet.tv.
